"Overall I would rate this a 3.5, in lieu of that being an option I rated them a 4 as to not overly ding them. I've never had bad food here, but I've also never had food I'm in a rush to have other people try. Some meals have been better than others, and I think consistency may be an area for them to work on. The food is served in gracious portions and I often find myself bringing home a heavy left over container of food I couldn't finish. I will also mention that I found my margaritas the last few times to be on the plainer side. Note- I'm not one of those people who needs to taste the alcohol and get punched in the face by it, but there does seem to be a heavy amount of ice lately leaving the remaining space for liquid limited."

"Clean nice large newer restaurant and parking lot included on site. We visited for lunch. Actually it must have been a slow day since we were the only two people in the resturant. We were greeted immediately seated at a comfortable clean booth. Server greeted us with a smile after waiting a short period of time. Drink orders were placed. My cocktail was the frozen strawberry margarita. I was asked if I wanted the small or large I ordered the large. HUGE! but believe me nothing went to waste. Chips and salsa were served with drinks. Salsa was a nice thick mixture with just the right amount of a bite. Chips were nice and fresh and both were complimentary. I ordered the taco variety. Chicken beef pork. Which came with a nice hot side dish of what looked and tasted like home made refried beans. Rice was nicely cooked soft mexican rice and not sticky. I highly reccomend the tacos and margarita. Thank you Las Brasas Grill we look forward to our next visit"

"This was my second time at this restaurant. The first time was 1-2 years ago with a friend. The first time was great because I ordered a meal that I did not end up eating and they took it off my order! The second time (which is today May 10th), it was good. The service was still great! I ate the food this time because I asked for light cheese. In terms of being "authentic" Mexican food, it is not especially if you have had La Tolteca's Mexican food. The flavor of the veggie enchiladas was non-existence. The enchiladas were essentially corn tortillas with barely cooked spinach. The rice and beans were good but not as flavorful as I am used to. While, I ate the food this time around, my sister did not. However, my sister enjoyed her coconut margarita and the chips that were provided! So three stars because of the good service, I ate the food this time, and my sister enjoyed her margarita!"

"My husband and I always get the chicken spinach nachos. Only thing we've had there because they're so good so we don't even get anything else. Only thing is we've had a couple instances when paying with cash where they didn't give us our change (actually change meaning cents) back which is strange. Friend got the tacos in pic and said they were also good"

"This place has gone down hill since first opening. We asked for hot sauce, since there was none on the table, and she brought out a small dish of Frank's, which is good, but definitely not a Mexican hot sauce like we get in any other local Mexican restaurant. We ordered the Molcahete for 2, which was fine, but got 3 flour tortillas, no choice of corn which we prefer, and 3 for 2 people? They also charge $3.50 if you want additional chips and salsa, every other Mexican restaurant we visit gives as much as you want while waiting for your meal. The waitress spent most of the time sitting at another table talking with coworkers and never offered to refill our drinks, and when we finished eating, we waited 10 minutes for her to come with the check. Then, she cleared off the whole table before finally bringing the check. Just disappointed based on our experiences at other places. It seems as if they really don't care about customers anymore."

"My cousin had recommended this place to me and I remained an open mind because well I have never been to a Mexican Restaurant before and i was definitely impressed. The decor was on point. The first thing I tried was some chips with salsa. When I tell you the salsa was delish it was indeed! I love the little kick of spice and flavor. It is unlike any salsa I had ever had. Could tell it was homemade! To drink I had a raspberry Ice tea and it came in a big cup you'd think of beer lol in the cartoons and movies. For lunch I had The Enchilada Supreme special which was the Enchilada, The rice, and a salad that had sour cream on it. Very authentic indeed. Speaking of authentic, my cousin had a steak with the vegetables and as a side there was rice, salad, and delicious mashed up beans with cheese. The beans were rich and creamy and I very much enjoyed that as well. I'd recommend this place to everyone visiting NY looking for some real mexican food. I plan on going back for my birthday which is on March 25! Thank you Las Brasas Grill!"

"I really enjoyed my dining experience here. Our waitress was very friendly, and she arrived with a big smile on her face. I ordered the flautas dinner and they were crispy and delicious! The little pieces of steak that came on the side were delicious and tender. My friend ordered the Enchiladas verdes and the green sauce was delicious. We also had the Texas Margaritas and the flavor was very good. Overall we were extremely pleased with our experience."
